Vintage Kinoptik Apochromat 75mm f/2, serial number 8154
The Kinoptik optical and aperture assembly remains intact and is currently integrated into a later Jupiter-9 85mm f/2 focusing assembly through a custom workshop-made interface.
The focusing assembly was recently identified by a specialist at Flints Auctions as originating from a Jupiter-9. The Kinoptik optical block itself was approximately dated to around 1949.
The Kinoptik has an internal female mounting thread measuring approximately 35 mm, which appears to remain intact.
The lens focuses and the aperture operates.
